Hi, we are Svetlana and Varban. We live in the village. We speak English and some Russian. We are available most of the time to make your stay with us as pleasant as possible.

Property information

Vedra is a guest house situated in the picturesque village of Ganchovets, in the Balkan mountain in Bulgaria. The village is situated only 20 km away from Veliko Tarnovo (ancient Bulgarian capital city) and Gabrovo, in one of the most beautiful parts of the country. We offer a unique experience by providing you not only a place to stay, but many attractions, activities, guided tours, catering* and much more. The house offers a great view to the mountains. It has a large yard with a summer kitchen, BBQ, kitchen and dining room with all facilities and kitchenware, 6 rooms that may accommodate up to 16 persons, free internet access, and more. The region around the guest house offers endless opportunities for hiking, biking, sight-seeing, visiting museums, monasteries, old Bulgarian villages and towns, modern shopping centers. If you want to book the whole house, please contact us. *Catering is avaiable only if you book the whole house.

Neighbourhood information

The village is situated in the outskirts of Balkan, the beautiful mountain, dividing the country. Ganchovets has many authentic houses, huge stone fences and very nice and welcoming people. Close to the property you will find a grocery store and a snack bar with choice of beers, alcoholic and refreshing beverages. Tryavna, Dryanivo, Gabrovo and Veliko Tarnovo are all located within 20-30 minutes drive. You'll find many biking and hiking routes around the village.
