Company information

We manage two guest houses in Veliko Tarnovo Province. One located on General Gurko Street in Veliko Tarnovo and another - in the nearby village of Velchevo. We have been running the house in Veliko Tarnovo since August 2018.

Property information

The house consists of four bedrooms, a kitchen, a dining room, two bathrooms and a room on the ground floor (the tavern), designed as a guest room. The restored barn offers two furthbedrooms and a bathroom. Five of the bedrooms have large family beds, one of them (in the barn) has two single beds. All rooms have a private entrance and have air conditioning and local heating. The ancient atmosphere in the bedrooms is delicately emphasized by the moldings under the windows, by the ceilings with massive wooden beams. The tall windows occupying one wall of the bedrooms give a sense of spaciousness and open up views of the pool and garden. The interior is simple and very cozy, the charm of this beautiful old house has been preserved, original elements of the building have been carefully restored - the jamala, the wooden ceiling, the wooden cabinets in the dining room, the authentic wooden floor, the windows, the wooden doors, the original plasters and the stone wall in the tavern .

Neighbourhood information

Saint George Guest House is located in the picturesque village of Velchevo at the foot of the Balkan mountains. The road is maintained all year round and is easily accessible. Nearby is the famous Kapinovski Monastery, a very beautiful and special place. Only a few meters from the house is the village church, which makes the villa very suitable for family occasions such as small weddings and christenings The capital of the second BulgarianEmpire, Veliko Tarnovo is only 15 kilometers away (20 minutes drive).
