About this property
Offering 15 ecological cottages built with local materials on pre-columbian agricultural terraces, Ecolodge La Estancia offers accomodation overlooking Titicaca lake. Built with mud bricks, stone and straw, each cottage is equipped with a passive solar heating system and a private bathroom. In addition, each cottage offers panoramic views of Titicaca lake, the moon island and the Andes mountain range. A buffet breakfast and a set meal for dinner are included daily. Ecolodge La Estancia also has a restaurant and bar on site, where guests will be able to savor local dishes and drinks while soaking up the undisturbed views of the lake. Guests at the property can also take part in activities, such as hiking, mystical ceremonies, archaeological tours, as well as other cultural exchanges. La Virgen Morena and Copacabana are 1 hour away by boat. Both Pilkokaina Ruins and Yumani Bay are 20 minutes away by boat. El Alto airport is 3.5 hours away by car.

The fine print
Please note, in order to reach the hotel, guests must walk 45 minutes from Pilcocaina or Yumani ports. Guests can contact the hotel in advance to schedule a pick-up service from the port.
Guests should only take the necessary luggage to Isla del Sol, they can leave excess luggage with one of the hotel's representatives in Copacabana.
Please note dinner consists of a fixed menu, which includes a soup, a main dish of trout, chicken or beef (vegetarian option available), a dessert and a beverage.
Please inform Ecolodge La Estancia of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
A damage deposit of $50 is required on arrival. This will be collected as a cash payment. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full, in cash, subject to an inspection of the property.
