Canela is an inviting, welcoming city and is situated in the Serra Gaúcha. It has a great infrastructure, as well as squares, restaurants, wineries and sights that tell more of its history. Canela has several natural attractions such as the Caracol Waterfall, a well-known postcard of Rio Grande do Sul and also the Skyglass, a glass platform erected 360 meters high and located in the famous Horseshoe Park. In addition to nature, the city also has other attractions such as Castelinho Caracol, former residence of the Franzen family, the Fashion Museum, with several period costumes, the Alpen Park with its radical toys and an amazing Maria Fumaça train ride to experience more of the culture and traditions of the Italians.
