Company information

Rafael is a native of São Bento do Sapucaí, and the space offered to guests is the house where he grew up. The youngest of 7 siblings, he loves to travel, engage in motorcycle and ecological trails, and has survival experience from his 5 years in the army. He is very fond of animals and loves music. Rafael plays the viola-caipira, which is a flok Brazilian instrument, and never turns down a good conversation. Renata is from São Paulo, lived many years outside of Brazil, and upon returning, she met Rafael. Out of love, she decided to change her life and left the big city to discover the wonders of the place that is now the Inn. She loves meeting people and exchanging ideas. Renata adores animals, dancing, and listening to good music; she's incredibly fun. She doesn't shy away from sports and adventures.

Property information

The Hospedaria Vida na Roça is a rural mountain lodge with a beautiful view of Baú and Balança Stones, located within the Serra da Mantiqueira Paulista. It's a place to experience the authentic countryside atmosphere and a spectacular sunrise. We are 9km away from the city center of São Bento do Sapucaí (SP). Our road is easily accessible. We, Rafael and Renata, live in the main house with our animals (dogs, cats, sheep, horses, cows, peacocks, ducks, chickens, and fish). The inn offers 9 cozy and unique accommodations. There are 3 independent and private themed cabins, 2 private suite rooms in the main house, and 4 simple country styled rooms that share 2 bathrooms. In addition to lodging, we provide countryside experiences, picnic services, and mini-weddings.

Neighbourhood information

The neighborhood where Hospedaria Vida na Roça is located, is famous for its views, friendly people, and good food. Located 20 minutes from downtown, it's easy to access the city of São Bento do Sapucaí, as well as other cities in the southern part of Minas Gerais that are very close. It's also possible to go on trails, hikes, climb to viewpoints, contemplate beautiful landscapes, observe birds and stars, swim in beautiful waterfalls, and eat in local restaurants near the Inn that offer typical and authentic regional cuisine.
