Superb chalet on the edge of the majestic Lac des Îles (navigable 16 km2) in Mont-Laurier, in the heart of the Hautes-Laurentides. Direct access to the water with a gently sloping entrance to the water. Ideal for swimming and water activities with 3 kayaks, canoe and paddle board at your disposal. Dock allowing boat docking and fishing (walleye, bass, pike). Dream site for fishermen and boaters. Quiet and private wooded lot with everything for outdoor living. A haven of peace located in nature, it is an ideal chalet for a getaway in any season with friends or family. Very quiet and relaxing place while being a 15-minute drive from downtown Mont-Laurier. Located 2 hours from Gatineau/Ottawa, 1h30 from Mont-Tremblant and 3 hours from Montreal. Full access to the cottage including: - 3 bedrooms (1 king; 1 queen; and, double bed + single bunk bed) + an extra queen mattress if necessary - 3 full bathrooms (including one with bath) - Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and coffee machine - Air-conditioning - Washer, dryer - Propane BBQ - Direct access to the water - 3 kayaks, one 16-foot canoe and one paddle board - Self-check-in with a key box
We are passionate about travelling and vacationing and we love sharing our beautiful cottage!
Nearby, there are several outdoor activities such as hiking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing (Centre de Plein Air Mont-Laurier, Parc Régional Montagne du Diable), cycling (Parc Linéaire Le P'tit Train du Nord, various circuits). Quad and snowmobile trails also nearby (various circuits), vehicle rental possible with guide. There are also activities for families (André Bolduc Intergenerational Trail, performance hall, ice rink and sliding in Mont-Laurier) and dog sled rides nearby. For foodies, in Mont-Laurier you will find cheese shops, bakeries, dairy bars, cafes, restaurants and a microbrewery in addition to grocery stores and the SAQ.
