Company information

We started this business in 2015 and have been expanding and going strong ever since. My partner and I both have backgrounds in client-focused businesses. My partner in particular has been in the hospitality business his entire career working on corporate hotel chains and private high-end restaurants and banquet facilities. He knows the business inside-out and set the foundations for our successful operation.

Property information

Here are six reasons to choose us: 1. We're the ONLY guesthouse located in downtown Barrie... a 5-minute walk to the core and the waterfront. 2. We're not a hotel per-se, nor are we a BnB. We live on-site and share our wonderful property with our guests. 3. It's amazingly quiet. 4. All entrances are private. 5. Parking is on-site, private, and off-street with security camera surveillance. 6. Three of our suites have views of our quiet street and//or garden.

Neighbourhood information

Barrie has an outstanding re-developed waterfront with it's downtown stretched out along the beaches and marinas. There are countless restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance of all different qualities, ethnicity and price-points. Plus there's countless clubs and bars for some exciting nightlife. Our street is quiet - for downtown - and is a stones throw from a small park and tennis courts. Our guests consistently love the peace and quiet and the proximity to downtown. The city and inter-city bus terminal is a 5 minute walk. The GO (passenger train) station is a 5 minute cab ride. Plus the area has countless attractions: boating, fishing, ice-fishing, skiing, kayaking, golf, go-karts, casino, horse racing, sports arena, big-box shopping, micro-breweries, plus has a huge regional hospital and college.
