Welcome to the beautiful lake house with a picturesque view directly on the shoreline of Lake Couchiching in Orillia. It is a good 1 hour drive from Toronto. At this lake house you will enjoy the stunning sunrises, a large lawn, uninterrupted views of the lake and a cozy setting inside with lots of amenities. When you arrive at the lake house, you will first be greeted by a charming porch. Inside, the lake house sleeps up to 8 guests with 4 spacious bedrooms, all with lake views. You will also find 3 bathrooms, a gorgeous large family room with bright windows facing the lake, a living room, a dining room, a tranquil and fully enclosed veranda with stunning views of the lake in all directions and a walkout to the lake, a full kitchen, laundry amenities, a loft area, and an office area. The lake house has a dock, an easy walk-in to the lake, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a collection of books and board games. Our lake house accommodates families and small groups, ensuring everyone has their own space to unwind and relax.
I enjoy hosting and want all our guests to feel the same awe and tranquility and see the same beauty of the lakefront that I experience each time I go to the lake house.
The Captains Lake House is located in a beautiful and quiet neighbourhood directly on the lake. Some nearby attractions include: - Less than a 10-minute drive to downtown Orillia with lovely local restaurants (i.e. Theo’s Eatery, Rustico Pizza Vina, Brewery Bay Food Co.), charming boutiques, and the very unique Mariposa Market - Couchiching Beach Park where you can enjoy the sandy beach, numerous places to picnic or for the kids to play, ice cream near by, or sit or stroll along the boardwalk and enjoy the views - Lovely walking and biking trails just a few steps from the lake house - Golfing - Live theatre periodically at the Orillia Opera House - Casino Rama – less than a 25-minute drive - Directly on the Snowmobile Trails of Ontario - Skiing at Horseshoe Resort or Mount St. Louis Moonstone are a 30-minute drive away - Lake St. John airport and restaurant is a 25-minute drive - Lake Simcoe Regional airport is a 15-minute drive
