The new Wood Duck Cabin!! HIKE IN 120m(cart provided) Situated on 430 acres, nestled on the very edge of a wetland system with open views & big skies. -No running Water -There is an outhouse box(see pics) -Drive-to access with a smart TV(NO WIFI, great cell service:) Wander 30km of nature trails! Paddle your provided kayaks waiting on nearby Golden Lake, or hike up to a smaller Escarpment lake & paddle its forest views. Fireplace, Queen Bed, 55" Smart TV, Air Conditioning, good cell service, Mini Fridge, Table with seating for 2, Coffee Maker, BBQ with propane.
☆Campers and their pets have access to all of our hiking trails with the exception of trails marked with **"Private Trail"** signs leading to individual campsites and cabins--we do our best to ensure privacy:) ☆You can drive your vehicle close to this location; 1.3 km off of Hwy 60. Trucks with 4x4 could get to the cabin) ☆Golden Lake/Kayak Access: 10 min walk. ☆Escarpment Lake/Canoe Access: see hiking map in cabin; from main parking area across highway: 30-40 min. hike There are 4 other private cabins on the other side of the highway about 2 km away, there is another one about 300m from yours: "Red Pine", "Algonquin Wolf," "Trackers Cabin,""The Escape Pod," and the "Sarah Lesley;" all are 4 season, all 350m away from each other with Private Trail Entrances.
