Timber framed with wood panelling and stone throughout, this unique and stunning chalet looks across to alpine pastures, snow-laden pines and the distant peaks of the Bernese Alps. Chalet La Poya is exactly what everyone imagines a traditional Swiss chalet should be. Recently renovated and set over four floors, this elegant property provides the perfect location to stay for the numerous winter and summer attractions of the ‘4-Vallées’ region. Located on the west side of La Tzoumaz, Chalet La Poya enjoys extraordinary views from the balcony that look down into the Rhône valley and across to towering mountains of the Bernese Alps. Neighbourhood information

La Tzoumaz is a Swiss ski resort which forms part of the huge 4-Valley's ski area and a gondola ride away from Verbier. It is north facing and holds the snow well long after others have given up. Residents/Visitors tend to be families and groups wanting outstanding skiing at all levels. In the summer the resort is transformed into a paradise of alpine meadow with endless summer activities. There is a free ski bus around the village and the outlying chalets. Most guests prefer to drive to the main gondola - parking is good at various designated car parks.
