A wellness oasis at an altitude of 1200 meters in a rural and tranquil setting in Beatenberg, with breathtaking views of Lake Thun. This fully equipped holiday apartment is located on the first floor of a three-family house in the Matte district, facing south, and leaves nothing to be desired. Beatenberg is considered the sun terrace of the Bernese Alps, from where you can enjoy particularly good views of the Jungfrau mountain range (Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau). Stretching far below, lies the deep blue Lake Thun.
Beatenberg offers numerous hiking trails, bike paths, playgrounds, and several barbecue areas. A bakery, several restaurants, and shops are within walking distance or just a few minutes by car. The ski lift in Hohwald is a 9-minute drive away. The gondola to the Niederhorn is about a 23-minute walk away or a 5-minute to drive. A highlight for children and adults alike - tobogganing under the stars on the Niederhorn. To round off a fun-filled evening, you'll be served mulled wine or punch at the Vorsass mountain restaurant.
