The view of Lake Lugano and the surrounding green mountains is breathtaking from the apartment UNIQUE GANDRIA 3, a special place for your vacation or business stay! This high standing apartment is located in a newly built building in the village of Gandria, not far from Lugano city. It welcomes you with a large and bright living room composed as follows: the TV area furnished with a comfortable sofa on which to watch a movie at the end of the day, or read a book and relax admiring the landscape from the window; the dining area with an oval table for 4 and the modern kitchen, complete and equipped with everything you need. The living room leads to the wonderful small terrace with table and chairs, where you can have breakfasts and drinks outdoors, enjoying the spectacular view of the Lake Ceresio branch. There are two bedrooms, a romantic double and a bedroom with a single bed and a small sofa that becomes a single bed for the night, both overlooking the lake. There are also two bathrooms, one with a bathtub and one with a shower. A set of towels is included in the stay for each person, along with sheets and blankets and a courtesy kit. We also leave a basket with the necessities for a breakfast. Guests have access to outdoor parking on the main street. WARNING: peer to reach the apartment, you have to walk 3 minutes down stairs!

Neighbourhood information

Nearby: Gandria is a picturesque and well-preserved village, among the most beautiful lakeside villages in Ticino, whose houses nestled on the mountainside, on the slopes of Mount Brè, are reflected in the waters of the Ceresio. The narrow buildings are reached via stairways and narrow streets. Some houses date from the 16th and 17th centuries and are adorned with frescoes and stucco decorations. The village is easily reachable by boat from Lugano, by car and by bus via the scenic road, Strada di Gandria. Among the most celebrated points of interest is the famous Sentiero di Gandria, an extraordinarily beautiful path that follows the lake among green Mediterranean vegetation, olive trees, typical lakeside houses, and the lake within walking distance.  Also easily reached by boat are Cantine di Gandria and Caprino, on the other side of the lake, where you can walk a path through the greenery and enjoy Ticino food in typical Grotti. By car you can reach Lugano Lido and Ciani Park in just 10 minutes, Lugano center in max. 15 minutes. There is a nice little Lido also in Gandria, at the beginning of the path on the Castagnola side, the Lido San Domenico. Italy is also just a stone's throw away: the Gandria customs post is 2 minutes away, and crossing it you reach the beautiful Italian shore of Lake Lugano, with the small villages of Valsolda, such as Oria (famous for the Villa Fogazzaro Roi, a FAI heritage site) and Porlezza. How to get there:  By car, from the A2 freeway take the Lugano Sud junction and set the GPS: in 15 minutes you will reach the parking lot. By train, from Lugano station take bus No. 2 direction "Castagnola, Capolinea" for 5 stops and get off at "Lugano, Palazzo Studi" stop. From here take bus 490 direction "Gandria, Paese" for 7 stops and get off at the stop "Gandria, Strada." In 3 minutes walk you will reach the apartment.
