I grew up in this amazing and peaceful valley. I have loved sharing its wonders with visitors since 2017, when I returned from a career as a humanitarian worker in various countries. This recently-renovated 3 bedroom apartment in a car-free village is prized by families looking to experience the wonders of the Onsernone Valley. Only 25 minutes from Locarno, it has a private garden. The traditional large, fenced garden is especially loved by children. The apartment is easily accessible on foot from the main road, in the tidiest neighborhood of the entire valley, famous for attracting artists and intellectuals seeking inspiration.

Berzona is the Onsernone Valley's best-known car-free village and is well known for its charming stone houses. It has attracted writers, painters, and intellectuals for over 100 years, including Max Frisch, Alfred Andersch, and Golo Mann, who all owned homes here. And 12 minutes walking from the house is a secluded swimming spot in a refreshing mountain stream! Plus dozens of hikes for all levels are available in every direction.
