Property information

Estancia Vanegas is a 400-year-old Heritage House located one kilometer from the main road via Sogamoso Firavitoba in the sector Callejuelas, Vereda Vanegas. It was built during the colonial period of the XVII century. The house still retains original cane wood log roofs with traditional floor ceramic tiles plus antique furniture that resembles an authentic colonial-era cottage complete with small windows and a fireplace. Let Estancia transport you to a more traditional era of Colombian history! Our unique space features the perfect balance between a traditional, cozy- rural setting with completely modern accommodations and appliances, so none of the experience is compromised by modern necessities while still having the complete peace of surrounding nature and mountains. A guest has access to the community kitchen, Indoor fireplace, Deck Hammocks, Parking lot Any request or guidance regarding anything related to your stay can be done by contacting me at any time. Each night of stay includes in-house breakfast with fresh coffee, a variety of fruit/herbal tea from our family garden or chocolate with artisanal bread, eggs of your choice, and fruit/juice of the season.

Neighbourhood information

Vanegas is a quiet, peaceful neighborhood that has residential condos with also many farmer families with cattle and various other animals. Pine-filled mountains and green landscapes make part of the surroundings.
