La Frondosa is a traditional Colombian farm, we produce milk and sell it to a store in town that creates amazing cheese. It is quiet and relaxing, you can rent the Quad and explore all around. The town is still non-touristic, they are very kind to foreigners and you can easily get offered a tour or an experience. We offer a cabalgata experience, which includes horse riding, a guide and aguardiente (traditional drink). We offer a traditional cheese making experience, which gives the guests the chance to have their own colombian cheese. It’s a very special place if you want to get immersed in local culture. In order to get there you can take the bus from terminal del sur in Medellin, make sure it´s the one towards Armenia Antioquia or Armenia Mantequilla because there´s Armenia in Quindio. It will take you approx an hour and a half to get down town, we will arrange your pick up prior to your arrival, it would be with the quad or there´s an option to book a car in town. It is a 40 minute walk to and from town.
