Our staff is 100% local people. They are very friendly people and as locals they know the pacific coast of Costa Rica very well. They can help you to arrange any adventure trip, yoga class, surf lesson, transportation and even a private dinner.

Portasol is an eco-community located in the central Pacific of Costa Rica only 25 minutes away from famous places like Manuel Antonio National Park or 15 minutes away from Dominical beach, but Portasol staff is going to be willing to show you the hidden beautiful places, the waterfalls and trails within the property.

Portalon is the name of the Costa Rican village where Portasol is located. If you want to discover a real Costa Rican town this the place. the closest beach is Matapalo Beach. The five elements in a Costa Rican town are: Soccer field, church, school, the supermarket (pulperia in spanish), and the bar.
