The beach features a point break that breaks to the left and right in a gnarly fashion at a river mouth over a sandy bottom. The area is under the protection of the government so it is largely undeveloped. Playa Herradura's beaches, Los Sueños Golf Club, and fishing opportunities are all a short drive from this home. The heart of Jacó is further, with the famous shops, restaurants, and nightlife of Pastor Diaz Avenue.
