**In alignment with public health recommendations, Special Places managed properties are taking measures which include enhanced cleaning and disinfection procedures** Pacifico L-204 in Coco is a surprisingly large 1-bedroom, 1-bath condo on the ground floor with a pool-view terrace. You don’t usually think of 1-bedroom units as “huge,” but this is one of the biggest we’ve ever seen. It turns out the room you save from not building a second or third bedroom leaves lots of space elsewhere. There’s a plush king bed in the blue bedroom, which shares the pool view and opens on the long terrace. The terrace, right in front of the pool, has an outdoor dining table and chairs, a separate seating area and a small barbecue. There are TVs in the bedroom and the big living room, which has a sofa and love seat in blue hues to match the walls. The big, blue-and-white kitchen has an island with three bar stools. The bathroom is also surprisingly large, with his-and-hers sinks and granite counters. Like all condos at Pacifico, this unit is air-conditioned and has a washer/dryer. Pacifico Pacifico is an exclusive resort community in the heart of Playas del Coco, with easy access to the beach, the high-end Auto Mercado supermarket and the Village Shops, anchored by a Hard Rock Café. Pacifico features resort-style swimming pools, a poolside bar and grill, and an offsite beach club with a restaurant, bar and pool right on the ocean. Pacifico offers 24/7 gated, guarded security and the convenience of a central location where it’s not much of a hike to the beach. There may be no better home base from which to explore the vibrant and funky Playas del Coco. Playas del Coco This big town/little city on Costa Rica’s Gold Coast has it all, starting with a gorgeous, blue-green bay dotted with fishing boats, dive boats and sailboats offering sunset tours. In front of the popular beach is a winding promenade with a basketball court and skate park, and the area is rich in hotels, restaurants, bars and stores catering to every need. Known for its vibrant nightlife as much as its chill pace, Playas del Coco claims to have been the first beach town in Guanacaste reachable by road. Its proximity to the Liberia airport is a plus, and it’s even closer to the nearby beach towns of Ocotal and Hermosa. Refunds are determined by cancellation policies, and in addition, SPCR charges a 5% cancellation fee over the total booking amount or a minimum of USD 75 and added 13%, plus any applicable merchant fees. This will be withheld from any refund on a deposit. Refunds will be processed to the credit card on file, or via wire transfer if deposit was made by wire transfer. SPCR recommends travel insurance to cover any unforeseeable contingencies.
