Company information

The host and owner is an American, but please don’t hold this against him, and has lived in Sal for 20years. He opened Cabo Verde´s first kite school and partnered in its first Yoga studio. He knows the language, the people, and the island. HIs love for this place, is seen in his decor, build and attention to detail. Having travelled around the world, Rod choose Cabo Verde as home, as it is truly a magical place, and a people that energetically beautiful. He is very experienced in customer service and running quality businesses, having owned and managed three very successful water sports centres and rental properties. His philosophy has always been one of quality over quantity.

Property information

Surf Zone Apartments are truly magical in its location and hospitality with fibre optic wifi. Located just 2 hops and a skip from 3 kilometers of white sandy spacious beach and the most magnificent ocean I have ever seen. It is also in the heart of Santa Maria so walking distance from all the local cafes and restaurants. Located at the base of the building is a kite school and down the road an ocean deck yoga studio. The apartments themselves are brand new and fully equipped with everything you need to make your holiday fabulous. The host of the building lives in Santa Maria and is available to help you with any information you need and should any problems arise in your apartment. But best of all is our roof top terrace, where you can read, dance, do yoga, have a drink, or just hang out with the ocean, the sunrise and the sunset. This is as good as it gets! And off course there is fibre optic wifi!

Neighbourhood information

Ahh love the area. 2 hops and you have reached your destination, 3 km of white sandy beach, with loads of space and an ocean that invites you in constantly. 25 steps and you are on the main pier of Santa Maria, where you can buy fresh fish every morning or just watch the local world go by. Move inwards into the village and within 1 minute you are on the promenade with all its diverse and colourful cafes, bars and restaurants. Walk a little further and you arrive at Cabo Verde’s only yoga studio and ocean deck. Come down from your apartment and voila you have arrived at our kite school. Everything you need or want, mobile service, island tours, bike rental, dive shops are all a little hop, skip and jump away.
