Company information
Yurts in Cyprus Ltd is a small, family-run company rooted in a love for nature, simplicity, and meaningful travel experiences. Established in 2013, we were among the first to introduce authentic Mongolian yurts to Cyprus—and have since grown into a trusted name for off-grid, eco-conscious stays on the island.
Over the years, we’ve expanded our offerings to include not only beautifully crafted yurts, but also unique accommodations like the Koliba Tiny House—each space designed with care, creativity, and a strong respect for the land. Today, we manage a small collection of thoughtfully placed, hand-built retreats, all tucked away in the scenic Paphos countryside.
What makes us different? We’re not a resort, and we never wanted to be one. We offer soulful, down-to-earth stays for people who want to slow down, reconnect with nature, and experience something real. Whether it’s a solo traveler looking for peace and quiet, a couple on a romantic escape, or a family teaching their kids to love the outdoors—our guests arrive curious and leave inspired.
We grow our own organic vegetables, use solar power, and run everything with sustainability in mind—from compost toilets to minimal packaging. But we also believe that comfort and eco-living can go hand in hand: expect soft beds, hot showers, and fresh homemade breakfasts with a view.
Our team is small but passionate. We live on-site, know the land intimately, and personally welcome every guest. When you stay with us, you’re not just booking a room—you’re becoming part of a slower, more connected way of living.

Welcome to Yurts in Cyprus, a peaceful hillside retreat tucked away in the lush countryside of Paphos, Cyprus. Surrounded by olive trees, chirping birds, and endless sky.
Koliba Tiny Hosue, our cozy eco-cabin, offers a unique blend of comfort, privacy, and connection to nature. Built almost entirely from natural materials, Koliba is inspired by traditional shepherd huts and slow living. Step inside and you’ll find warm wood interiors, hand-finished details, soft textiles, and a calming color palette that invites you to exhale and unwind. Everything has been thoughtfully designed for simplicity and comfort—from the snug double bed with soft linens to the compact kitchen space, perfect for making coffee or a slow meal.
Start your day with a homemade breakfast—often featuring produce from our own organic veggie garden, grown with love (and bokashi tea!). Guests often tell us how good the food tastes when it's this fresh and local.
Guests love the quiet and seclusion, the fresh air, and the feeling of being truly off-grid—but without sacrificing the comforts of home. The house is powered by 99.3% solar energy and includes a private bathroom with hot shower and compost toilet (clean and planet-friendly!).
The large outdoor deck is a guest favorite—perfect for watching the sunrise, reading a book, meditating, or stargazing at night. And thanks to our microclimate, even summer nights stay cool and pleasant.
Families are welcome, and kids love exploring the garden, watching the bees, and feeling free in nature. Parents love the space to truly unwind. Whether you're looking for a peaceful solo escape, a digital detox, or a romantic weekend in nature, Koliba Tiny House offers a truly special experience: off-grid simplicity, cozy design, and the kind of silence that recharges the soul.
Come slow down, breathe deep, and experience life in rhythm with the land.
Neighbourhood information
Tucked away in the hills of Paphos district, our little eco-retreat is surrounded by a peaceful, rural landscape—olive groves, wildflowers, gentle breezes, and spectacular mountain views. It’s a place where you can truly disconnect from the noise and reconnect with the rhythm of nature.
We’re located between the traditional villages of Simou and Filousa, both just a short drive away. In Simou, you’ll find a charming village square with a local café, two taverns, and genuine hospitality from friendly locals. Filousa is a quiet, sleepy village with stone houses and narrow lanes—a perfect place for a slow walk and a step back in time.
For those who love exploring, we’re just 20–25 minutes from the Akamas Peninsula, where you can hike through gorges, swim in hidden bays, or take a boat to the Blue Lagoon. The beaches of Polis and Latchi are also nearby—perfect for a swim, a seafood lunch by the sea, or a sunset walk.
Nature lovers will enjoy the many walking trails, birdwatching opportunities, and the ever-changing light on the hills. The air is fresh, the nights are star-filled, and the only sounds you’ll hear are crickets, owls, and the occasional goat bell.
The area is also rich in history, with Byzantine chapels, ancient ruins, and mountain churches dotted throughout the landscape. You can explore at your own pace, or simply stay put and enjoy the view from your hammock.
Our guests often say they feel like they’ve discovered a hidden corner of Cyprus—quiet, authentic, and full of heart.
