Between half-timbered houses and clay plaster, you live in modern yet traditional apartments. Wuppertal's hotspots are just a few minutes' walk away. All bedrooms are equipped with comfortable beds and plenty of storage space so you can relax after a long day in Wuppertal. In the bathroom you will find everything you need for a relaxing stay: Washbasin, toilet, shower and shampoo and shower gel for a good and uncomplicated start in the apartment. The fully equipped kitchen has a selection of electrical appliances at your disposal. You must bring your own coffee and tea accessories.

Neighbourhood information

Wuppertal - A city as an artificial product: in 1929, the Rhineland municipalities of Barmen, Elberfeld, Ronsdorf, Vohwinkel, Cronenberg and Beyenburg were merged. The entity has been called Wuppertal since 1930. Today, the capital of the Bergisches Land region has 350,000 inhabitants. Our sights: The famous Wuppertal suspension railroad, which was used by Tuffi the elephant and Emperor Wilhelm II. Wuppertal is also a great place to go out. Instead of the old town, everyone is drawn to the Luisenviertel. In the area around Luisenstraße in Elberfeld, pretty houses in typical Bergisch style with slate façades and green shutters stand next to white Wilhelminian-style buildings. Almost all of them are home to bars and restaurants, with stores, studios and small beer gardens along the roadside. The town's most famous son is probably Friedrich Engels. The former home of the social revolutionary and comrade-in-arms of Karl Marx in Barmen is currently being restored and should be finished by the 200th anniversary of his birth in 2020. Also inextricably linked to Wuppertal are Pina Bausch and the dance theater named after her, currently performed in the opera house in Barmen.
