Property information

Log cabin in a quiet, south-facing hillside location right next to the forest and the hiking trail to the Brocken. It lies at an altitude of 622 meters at the foot of the Brocken peak, around five kilometers away, with a view of Schierke and the Wurmberg. The house offers a wonderful view of one of Schierke's large cliffs from the sauna and bath. Enjoy the unique charm of the mountain town of Schierke with all its advantages. The small district of Wernigerode has a pretty spa park with botanical features and is known for the so-called old pharmacy, the ancestral home of Schierker Feuerstein. Hiking trails and cross-country ski runs can be reached directly from the house. Whether bakery, supermarket, restaurant, savings bank or cafe - all important things are within walking distance. Wernigerode and Braunlage can be reached in a few minutes by car. The Brockencoaster (bobsleigh track) is located at the entrance to Schierke - fun for the whole family. Cross-country skiing, downhill skiing (on the neighboring Wurmberg) or horse-drawn sleigh rides in winter, horse-drawn carriage rides, horseback riding, mountain biking, Nordic walking, climbing or hiking in summer - Schierke offers you a wide range of leisure activities.
