The apartment is located on the first floor of a memorial house with its own entrance. It has been newly renovated with much love, knowledge and commitment to the historic detail and comfortably furnished in a mix of remodeled historic and new furniture. The apartment is about 45 m2 and consists of a bright living and dining area with a new and fully equipped kitchen (including Lavazza capsule machine, dishwasher, etc.). The adjoining double bedroom has direct access to a spacious and stylish shower room. The apartment is quietly located in the historic center of Schopfheim with a view of the Lenkplastik. In the immediate vicinity you will find all the usual shops. Particularly noteworthy is the far beyond the city limits known and popular weekly market with a variety of regional providers, which always takes place on Wednesday and Saturday. Bars, cafes and restaurants invite you to linger.
We - Katharina and Franz - live in a historic house in the immediate vicinity. We warmly welcome you for relaxing days in the beautiful meadow valley on the southern edge of the Black Forest. We are happy to give you hints and tips to explore the nearer and a bit further afield.
Schopfheim is very well connected by traffic. You can reach us either by car via the B 317 or by the S-Bahn, which runs every 30 minutes from the direction of Basel / Lörrach. The apartment is within easy reach (5) minutes walk from Schopfheim station. Schopfheim is a historic margrave city in the meadow valley on the southern slopes of the Black Forest and is for nature lovers (hikers or mountain bikers) the ideal starting point for numerous explorations (for example Hebelwanderweg). For those interested, courses in Nordic walking (including poles) can be offered. The Vosges mountains in Alsace and the Jura mountains in Switzerland invite you to wind down. The Markgräflerland attracts with its wines and numerous culinary treasures. Lörrach and Basel and their surroundings offer a rich offer for music and culture lovers: the voices festival in Lörrach, jazz days in Basel, the summer sound in Schopfheim, the Beyeler Foundation in Riehen, the art museum in Basel, the Tingueley Museum in Basel, the Vitra Design in Weil am Rhein and much more.
