The town of Holzminden with the Sensoria fragrance museum is 12 km away, the Pied Piper town of Hameln 32 km and Bodenwerder, the birthplace of the Liar Baron von Münchhausen, approx. 12 km. The Godelheimer See leisure park with sandy beach and pedal boats is approx. 20 km away and the Ith-Sole Therme in Salzhemmendorf is 22 km away. The PS Speicher car museum in Einbeck is approx. 23 km away. There are some beautiful Weser Renaissance castles in the surrounding area.
