We (Mary & Josua) are new parents to little Isaiah. Right now, we're still adjusting to life with a baby. We are avid vacation rental enthusiasts ourselves. On almost every trip, we've made ourselves at home in at least one vacation accommodation. With so much inspiration, we felt inspired to bring everything we loved into our own vacation rental. We renovated, furnished, and made the apartment feel like home as a family project. We are gaining experience and constantly improving. That's why we always have an open ear for feedback. Within walking distance of the vacation apartment, there are several restaurants, a supermarket, and a few small shops. If you drive all the way down the hill, you’ll reach the commercial area, where you’ll find Lidl, Rossmann, Deichmann, Aldi, Phillips, and much more. Attractions – after all, there’s plenty to see in the Vulkaneifel 🕶️: - Lava-Dome (within walking distance): An interactive volcano museum explaining the formation of the Eifel volcanoes. The highlight is the walkable lava crevice cave. - Lavakeller (within walking distance): Underground basalt cellars used for beer storage since the 16th century. Tours showcase the connection between volcanism and brewing. - Laacher See (5-minute drive): A volcanic crater lake, perfect for walks and boat trips. The Maria Laach Abbey (12th century) on the shore impresses with its Romanesque architecture and monastery garden. - Nürburgring (30-minute drive): Legendary racetrack with a museum and experience drives on the Nordschleife. There are also some beautiful cycling and hiking trails in the area.
