Our appartment "Fernblick Pfalz" is located on the edge of the forest in the small idyllic wine village of Weyher in the Palatinate. The winegrowing village is elevated on the slope of the rising Palatinate Forest. The flat is located in the attic of the "Ferienhaus Pfälzer Wald Weyher", which is situated in a quiet residential area on the edge of the village directly by the forest. The garden of the house merges into the Pfälzerwald biosphere reserve. In the other direction, you can enjoy a magnificent view over the wineyards of the German Wine Route and the Upper Rhine Plain. In good weather you can see as far as the Schwarzwald. The appartment is modernly furnished on approx. 60 sqm. The sloping ceilings, which are interrupted by large windows, some of which are floor deep, give the rooms a lot of cosiness and natural lighting. There is room for 2-4 people in a large kitchen/living room with a sofa bed, dining table, fully equipped kitchen, private sauna, a bedroom with a wooden double bed 180x200 cm (additional baby cot possible), daylight bathroom and a large balcony with a wide view. Let the day end with a glass of wine enjoy the view! 2 stairs have to be claimed to the appartment. Unfortunately, Wifi is not very fast, because it is the last house before the forrest.

The accommodation is an ideal starting point for hikes, bike tours, excursions, wine tastings at the many Palatinate winegrowers (quite uncomplicated and free of charge - well, you might want to buy a few bottles of wine for a few euros), hearty or upscale food at the vineyard or in cosy winegrowers' farms.

The Palatinate offers plenty of relaxation and pleasure. Taste your way through the many vintners, taste the Rieslings from different layers of rock or local flavourful Bukket wines like Gewürztraminer. Hike from one hut to the next in the pristine Palatinate Forest. Cycle along the wine route through quaint villages. Visit the Villa Ludwigshöhe next to the holiday flat and the Rietburg Castle as well as the beautiful Wnzerdorf Rhodt unter Retburg. Take trips to Hambach Castle, Trifels Castle, the Dahner Felsenland, Speyer, Heidelberg, Landau, Neustadt an der Weinstraße or Alsace. Take the Kuckucksbähnel (old steam locomotive) deep into the Palatinate Forest. For children: Seaworld and the Speyer Museum of Technology or Holiday Park as well as the small wildlife park at the Rietburg or Landau Zoo. Enjoy the Palatinate - you will come back again. Because this corner of the world is still without mass tourism. Here you can relax perfectly. The climate is warm and sunny. Kiwis, almonds and figs grow here alongside wine. It's also great in winter: solitary walks, leafless vineyards and almond blossom from March.
