The Goslar district of Immenrode is situated in an idyllic village location in the middle of a wonderful recreational area with many cultural attractions and historical sites. Whether by public transport, by car or by foot, nearby places with their respective shopping facilities, sights or leisure activities can be reached quickly and easily. On the hiking trails around Immenrode - all the way into the Harz Mountains - you can experience a balanced vacation with meadows, forests and sights, even without using a motor vehicle. Goslar old town (center)= 6 km Rammelsberg (mining museum) = 8 km Riechenberg estate (Protestant Gethsemane monastery) = 7 km Grauhof estate (St. Georg monastery church) = 4 km Ohlhof estate = 4 km Wöltingerode monastery estate (schnapps distillery, possibly with tasting session) = 4 km Vienenburger See local recreation area = 6 km Harlyturm tower with excellent views of the Harz foreland = 6 km
