The summer cottage is located in Behrenhoff, approx. 7km to Hanseatic and university town Greifswald. Set on secluded enclosure on the outskirts of the village.
The Greifswalder Bodden (sea inlet), the romantic fishing village Wieck with its historic bascule bridge, and Eldena with its lido (4km) and monastery ruins are popular destinations.
Bathing places you'll find in the lido of Greifswald/Eldena (approx. 12km) or in Ludwigsburg (approx. 12km, ideal for toddlers). Further bathing places are at the natural beach of Loissin and the seaside resort of Lubmin within 12 km and 15km, respectively.
On colder days, you might consider a visit to the indoor swimming pools of Greifswald and Stralsund. The two largest German islands, The Isles of Rügen and Usedom, are within easy reach. The local tennis court is open for a small fee.
