Gästehaus Lavendel is a land house in the village of Senheim directly on the Mosel river. It has two apartments suitable for hosting 1-7 people in total; With the Mosel river in the front, Hunsrück mountain on the back side, free parking, free wifi, and private kitchens, our guests can enjoy either a short stop over or weeks long stay with comfort and maximum privacy. As many of our guests are visiting the Mosel with kids, since 2020, we have increased some new facilities, such as table tennis and children bikes; We also offer day trips, pickup service & transfers to/from Hahn airport and train stations; Our current minimum stay is 5 nights but for special request, we try to stay flexible. Hope we can provide our guests a wonderful Mosel holiday in all seasons!
Mosel area is my love at first sight! Every year in the last 10 years, I spent times here as much as possible: enjoying the sun, hiking and biking to the endless historical fairy tale like villages, wine tasting, reading a book in the shadow of a tree by the river side, or joining the great crowds at the Wine Festival with live music, or, simply enjoying a moment of doing nothing... The Mosel has so much to offer, for young and old, I would love to share my experience with my guests here and let this guest house provide them comfort and joy for their holidays.
Senheim is a village direct on the Mosel between Koblenz and Trier with train connection at a nearby village called Eller, 5 kms from the village; regular bus is available connecting most popular towns in the area, such as Cochem and Zell, and only 20 km away from the Hahn airport; It has a harbor where you can hop up on a cruise ship to other famous sightseeing spots along the Mosel; Golf playing, canoeing, calmont klettersteig and Moselsteig hiking activities are few kms away; Wine tasting by the wine museum or simply by a local wine cellar is what you can not miss while staying ; for young people, the wild park and the Moselbad in Cochem is great fun; with our bike rental service, cycling along the Mosel river is just fun for the whole family.
