Welcome to the page of the luxury holiday home Haus am Berg which is located in the Moselle region in Germany, surrounded by forests and hills, on the edge of the historic village of Bad Bertrich. A fantastic opportunity to enjoy with friends, colleagues or family. As the name suggests, Haus am Berg is situated on a real mountain, 20 meters above the road and is reached via a winding footpath of 90 meters long. Suitcases and groceries can be transported upwards via a goods lift. As soon as you are on top of the mountain, breathe in the healthy air and let the wide view soak in for you, you will have a holiday. Haus am Berg is a large luxury holiday home for groups of up to 20 people who value quality. With 7 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, a spacious living room, professional kitchen and a sun-drenched terrace, you can fully enjoy this special holiday home in a beautiful nature reserve.
We, the Mastenbroek family, have been a big fan of Germany for years. After having visited many beautiful places, we immediately fell in love with the picturesque village of Bad Bertrich. We took the opportunity with both hands when Haus am Berg was sold. In 2011/2012 we have completely restored the house (which dates from 1920). My father and brother spent 2 years working on completely renovating Haus am Berg in addition to their own work. Only the outside walls have remained. We are very proud of our house and we want others to enjoy both the house and the beautiful surroundings.
Bad Bertrich has the only glauber salt baths in Germany. With a temperature of 32 ° C, the warm spring water of Bad Bertrich bubbles up from more than 2,000 meters, filled with warmth and health.
