Property information

Chic and modern log cabin with a Scandinavian-style sauna in the middle of the Schaalsee biosphere reserve. In the high-quality and tastefully furnished rooms, you will certainly quickly feel comfortable. A spacious sun terrace with garden furniture and loungers invites you to spend relaxing hours under the parasol on warm days. In the evening it is cozy with a barbecue - although you should also fall back on wonderfully fresh fish from the Schaalsee fishery. Of course you can also simply fish your own fish. You live only 1,300 meters from the Schaalsee, where there is a boat rental and a beautiful lido for bathing and swimming. Zarrentin is the gateway to the Schaalsee biosphere reserve. In addition to various shops, you will also find restaurants, a lake promenade and a lido in the village. Worth seeing are the former Cistercian monastery, of which the east wing is still preserved today, and the local history museum, founded in 1988, which focuses on the history of the city and the region. Highlights included: Usage-based energy costs, bed linen, towels, final cleaning WLAN Activities nearby: In addition to swimming or fishing, there are also many other recreational opportunities. The Schaalsee biosphere reserve is recognized by UNESCO and as a nature lover you will find many rare animals and plants here, which are best discovered on hikes and bike tours. A designated network of cycling and hiking trails spanning more than 180 kilometers takes you through pure and pristine nature. The Schaalsee biosphere reserve is located directly on the former inner-German border. A circular hike across the Strangen peninsula and around the Kirchensee impressively shows how formerly populated areas and border installations were and are being recaptured by nature. The slightly more than 40 km long bike tour around the Schaalsee is also very nice.
