The village was the beneficiary of a village renewal project in recent years and is beautiful to look at. On the route of the disused railroad line, the regional cycle path Stille Pauline was created, it is certainly fun to cycle on it. The half-timbered church from the 18th century is also remarkable. Karwese is located in the municipality of Fehrbellin. A famous battle took place here in 1675 and Swedish Pomerania, until then dominated by the Swedes, became part of Brandenburg. In June, the Fehrbellin Festival is held in honor of this battle. Cultural sights of the region are a Slavic medieval castle rampart in Brunne, settlement traces from the Bronze Age and Iron Age in Fehrbellin, a medieval village center in Langen, settlement remains from the Stone Age in Manker and settlement traces from the Stone Age and Slavic Middle Ages in Walchow.
