Canoe area Treene: Enjoy the luxury of your own canoe - only 300 m from the 55 km long river. You live tastefully and with a large garden, where you can have a wonderful barbecue in the evening and end the day. If the weather doesn't play along, you can use the covered terrace or make yourself comfortable in front of the fireplace. Huenning is located directly on the Treene, which meanders through the area with its widely branched arms. Not far away begins the Schlei, that beautiful river that stretches with its small villages on the shore to the Baltic Sea. The region is ideal for taking a variety of excursions every day, the beaches of the Baltic Sea and the Wadden Sea of the North Sea are only about 30 km away. You can even explore neighboring Denmark from here. There is a lot of culture to discover in the surrounding cities of Flensburg, Schleswig, Husum and Friedrichstadt, and leisure parks, animal parks, indoor and outdoor pools that are within easy reach promise varied holidays for the whole family. Highlights include: 1 bottle of sparkling wine on arrival as a welcome activity nearby: The Treene not only offers bathing fun and good fishing spots, but is also a wonderful area for canoeists.
