Relax and enjoy your stay in our beautifully situated and renovated holiday home with a fenced in garden looking out over fields towards the mountains. Pets welcome. The apartment is close to the town of Traunstein and still in the middle of nature. An ideal starting point for outdoor sports and activities in the surrounding mountains and lakes e.g. walking, cycling, hiking, wintersports and day trips. Get to know our beautiful region while out and about in the sourrounding fields and forests.
You can always contact us directly or indirectly and we will be happy to help, with questions about the apartment, suggestions for restaurants, or hiking and mountain tours. We are also happy to help with various problems, for example, a pump and patches for the mountain bike or a water bottle for the dog, or simply an umbrella.
Traunstein is located in the heart of the Chiemgau region near the Alps. The district capital with just over 18,000 inhabitants and also known as a beer town invites you to linger in its cafes and beer gardens. In less than 15 minutes by car you can reach hiking and skiing areas in the mountains. Further west of Traunstein is lake Chiemsee, which invites you to swim and cool off in the summer with its many beaches and provides a picturesque backdrop for walking in the winter. For more of a city feeling and more culture, you can reach the Mozart city of Salzburg in 25 minutes. As the apartment is just outside of town it is best to have a car to go sightseeing etc.
