Welcome to our holiday home - House of ROOTZ!'' We are the Dreijer-Scheltens family, who have owned this wonderful holiday home since 2003. We would like to welcome you to our holiday home for your holiday stay. House of ROOTZ! is in an excellent, sunny and central location with a beautiful view of the Kellerwald nature park and a short distance (30 - 40 minutes) from the Edersee, Frankenberg, Willingen and Winterberg. Enjoy the perfect balance between living comfort and a unique walking area. TIP: The renovated and modern holiday home consists of two apartments, which can be booked separately for 4 people or can be booked in its entirety for more people (max 8 people). Both apartments have either a large balcony (upstairs apartment 232) or a garden area (downstairs apartment 234) with a beautiful view.
We still like to come to this beautiful area, whether it is spring, summer, autumn or winter, it is always a good time here. We would like to invite you to spend a holiday in this wonderful place! If you have any questions or wishes, please contact us, we will be happy to help you.
Our holiday home is located at an altitude of 500 meters, in the middle of nature. If you like walking in nature, you can choose from short or long walks or mountain bike tours directly from the holiday home. Hikers and mountain bikers will definitely get their money's worth here. Take a refreshing dip in the Edersee or simply sit quietly in a chair and enjoy the impression of nature or with a good book in front of the fireplace. We love it! This beautiful holiday region is located southeast of Sauerland, about 2.5 to 3 hours' drive from Utrecht. We love the outdoors that Frankenau Hessen and the surrounding area has to offer. Within a few steps you are literally in the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park. There is also a lot to see and experience for families with children. The immediate surroundings of the holiday home are ideal for families who want to experience an active holiday. There are a multitude of family-friendly activities in this holiday region! Germany's largest reservoir, the Edersee, is nearby. At this vast lake you can dive, climb, sailing, surfing, water skiing, canoeing and boating, fishing or swimming. In addition, this region is also very interesting culturally and historically with cities such as Bad Arolsen, Frankenberg, Waldeck, Marburg and Bad Wildungen. Even in winter, our house offers plenty of winter sports opportunities with well-known ski areas such as Winterberg and Willingen in Sauerland. Our location is quiet with shops and restaurants within a 10-minute drive. Free WiFi and an interactive TV with NETTFLIX. For security, one camera of the building has been installed on the balcony.
