In the charming Eifel parlors you will find the ideal starting position and extremely cozy and comfortable accommodation that fits perfectly with the extraordinary excursions. Ulmen is located in the heart of the Vulkaneifel, surrounded by the famous volcanic lakes, the Maaren. The Ulmener Maar is unique because it is in the middle of the town, the church is on the shore and the ruins of a knight's castle tower over the lake. In 20 minutes you can reach both the Nürburgring and the Moselle by car. Incredibly beautiful hiking trails and mountain bike routes lead through the elms. They were voted the most beautiful in all of Germany. There is another lake directly above the Maar, the Jungferweiher. In 2022 there will be a visitor path from the pond to the maar for the first time, the so-called tunnel. Our holiday homes are in the middle of the town, directly on the Maar and under the ruins of the castle - and yet very quiet and ideal for relaxing after a day on foot or by bike through the valleys of the Eifel and Moselle. Famous sights such as Eltz Castle or the Cochem Reichsburg are only half an hour away. Convince yourself that the Eifel and especially Ulmen is one of the most beautiful regions in Germany!
