Upstairs, a second lounge with books and a Smart TV offers quiet space to unwind. Outside, a private terrace, a garden, and a personal sauna invite you to slow down and enjoy the moment. Nothing here is flashy or fast. But everything is intentional. ABAITA is for those seeking beauty, calm, and reconnection — not just a place to stay, but a feeling you carry with you after you leave.
We’re Kobi and Vincenzo — partners in life and design. One of us works in interior styling and design, the other brings warmth and creative hospitality. Together, we created ABAITA as more than a rental — it’s a retreat designed to slow you down and reconnect you to beauty and calm. During the stillness of the pandemic, we found ourselves drawn to nature. When we came to visit Zerpenschleuse, we were offered several plots to consider — so we brought our dog, Choya, for a walk. She explored them all, then stopped in a quiet clearing… and lay down. That was our decision. Or rather, hers. That clearing is where ABAITA stands today. Choya didn’t live to see the house completed, but in many ways, this place still belongs to her. It has her calm, her instinct. Her peace. Zerpenschleuse is a hidden corner of Brandenburg, full of nature, sky, and quiet. It’s not about attractions or activities, but a deeper rhythm. You can walk along the canal, hear owls at night, or just do nothing at all. It’s a place to exhale. That’s why we chose it. Or maybe… it chose us.
