It is located in the Stecklenberg district of Thale, and is surrounded by the hills of the Harz region. This location is perfect for hiking in the Harz mountains or for visiting all famous places of interest such as the Bodetal (Bode valley), the World Heritage city of Quedlinburg, the Teufelsmauer (devil's wall) rock formation or the ruins of the Medieval castles of Stecklenburg and Lauenburg.
