About this property
This historic hotel is in the centre of Grünwald. It offers free parking as well as panoramic views of the Isar valley from the terrace and rooms. The Schlosshotel Grünwald was built in 1293 as a hunting lodge. As a hotel, it now offers modern rooms and suites which have been finished with light-wood furnishings and bright colours. The restaurant of the Schlosshotel Grünwald features a traditional tiled oven. A variety of Mediterranean-inspired dishes are served here. The terrace is open during the summer, and boasts wonderful views of the surroundings. Munich is about 12 km north of Grünwald. Höllriegelskreuth S-Bahn (city rail) station is just a 15-minute walk from the hotel. From here, Marienplatz square can be reached directly in 26 minutes.
