Born and raised in Los Angeles, California and now living in beautiful Erfurt- Tiefthal, Germany. My husband Chris and I moved to this beautiful town 2 years ago and we are so excited to share it with travelers. We love meeting new people, eating good food and exploring interesting places.
Just 10 minutes away from Erfurt -the state capital of Thuringia – you are still within close proximity to local cafes, bakeries, restaurants and shops. Down the street is a local country store where you can buy your daily groceries like eggs, butter and noodles. Regional lunch or dinner bistro food is also available. For nature enthusiasts, this charming stay is just steps away from the famous “zur Gründmuhle” hiking trail, serene biking trails alongside the Aue River and a short drive to Oberhof and Rennsteig mountain area where you will find numerous mountain hikes, skiing and winter activities. Enjoy the serene surroundings, explore the nearby attractions, and immerse yourself in a truly graceful vacation experience.
