Villa Sophie is your hideaway in the black forest. Enjoy the best location and plenty of privacy with up to 11 people. Villa Sophie is situated above the river Alb, directly at the park. Stay in a beautifully furnitured historic villa with all modern amenities, including sauna, fitness room, two 4k UHD flat screen TVs with Netflix, Playstation 4 and free WLAN. Enjoy our solitary location, the exclusively equipped rooms of the 230 sqm villa and 2 spacious, secluded terraces. Within walking distance you find the park, the spa, playgrounds and over 10 restaurants and cafes. A short drive away are all of the highlights in the northern Black Forest, and the citites Baden-Baden, Karlsruhe, and Pforzheim. At additional cost, we offer drinks delivery service and guided tours directly from Villa Sophie! Free sledge rental and cleaning service from 8 nights.
Welcome to our historic villa built in 1913. We have put our love and taste into modernizing and furnishing the house to offer you a great experience. We live nearby and have been living in Bad Herrenalb for over 15 years and are always at your disposal with our local insider tips. We want you to feel at home and have therefore thought of the most for your stay, so that you will find the comfort of a hotel with the privacy of a holiday home. We are happy to be your hosts.
Our historic villa is located in the heart of Bad Herrenalb, directly at the Kurpark, and offers within walking distance over 10 restaurants and cafes, 2 playgrounds for children, pharmacies, bakeries and the spa, which is open until 10 p.m., as well as the railway station with connections to Karlsruhe and Baden-Baden. Supermarkets are approx. 1km away and Mo-Sa are open from 7 to 22 o'clock. Bad Herrenalb is the portal for the highlights of the northern Black Forest, all of which can be reached in about half an hour. Baden-Baden with its thermal baths, museums, Festspielhaus, beautiful parks, noble boutiques and casino is about 30 minutes away. The city of Karlsruhe can also be reached in 30 minutes and is connected by train with the S1 line, where you will find the world-famous ZKM, Europabad and many other sights. Bad Wildbad with its famous thermal baths, tree top path and wild line is also 30 minutes away. The same goes for the gold town of Pforzheim. An hour's drive takes you to Strasbourg, the Europapark Rust, Heidelberg, Stuttgart and Mannheim, as well as the North Black Forest National Park, Lake Mummelsee and Hornisgrinde.
