A lovely place to stay! Very nice owners of the farm, and they take great care of the animals. A real commitment to sustainable living. Great for kids - our son already wants to go back!

Charming place in rural south Denmark. Our room was a refurbished stable, and the gees walked around freely when we woke up. We think this will be especially nice for families with smaller children. Very nice and friendly couple that runs the place

A farm like home Longing for the sound of the blowing wind, the view of the stars as well as the horizont? Would you like to enjoy homecooked meals made from the freshest produce? Why not endulge yourself on a little care like you got from your grandmother? Be woken by the sound of the rooster, with freshly baked buns and homemade jams for the breakfast and go to sleep at night filled with fresh air, good experiences and delicious food. You'll have plenty of things to do, accompany the farmer feeding the pigs, goats, ducks and hens, make bonfires in the garden, climbing in trees or make excursions in the surroundings. Newly build flat surrounded by nature, overlooking the fields on the idyllic farm Dambeakgaard close to Stevns Klint, UNESCO World Heritage, Vallø Castle, the farmers market and cosy shopping area in Køge. Two rooms that hosts up to five people. The flat does not have a bathroom yet, but it's on its way. Untill then you share the bathroom in the main house with other farm guests. It's possible to buy breakfast and dinner, as well as a picnic basket. All meals are made from either the farms own produce or the produce of other local farmer.
The hostes used to be an implementation consultant, but decided to live from her year-long passion for cooking and hosting. For the past twenty years she's been catering in her spare time and seven years ago the family moved to the farm with the ambition of becoming self sufficient. The goal is to make the farm a sanctuary where guests can recharge their batteries, enjoy the homecooked meals, the nature and the animals - away from the busy every day life. We also hope that guests will find inspiration to implement small changes in their daily life to make it a little more sustainable. And maybe for some guests it's just a nice refuge to spend a night while being on the road.
There are plenty of activities in the area. Stevns Klint, UNESCO World Heritage is of course mandatory. It can be enjoyed on the hikers path (22 km long) or at some of the excursions sites like, Højerup og Boesdal Kalkbrud. And why not take the children for a fossile hunt in Faxe Kalkbrud or visit the geological museum in Faxe. Køge offers a farmers market twice a week and a cosy shopping area in the centre. The are many castles worht a visit nearby, like Vallø, Gjorslev and Bregnetved. For those who like to combine their city break with some peace and quiet, Copenhagen is just one hour away by public transport and 45 minutes by car.
