Buy fresh fish directly from local fishermen The cottage is perfect for the family looking for a simple and peaceful setting and the opportunity for beautiful nature experiences right outside the door. Meet Simon My name is Simon, and I work at Aarhus University. I own this beautiful summer house at Thorup beach with my wife, and my cousin and his wife. The cottage is from the 60s and was built by my grandfather and has since been passed down in the family. We are happy to share the many joys of cottage life with others. Thorup Strand is a well-kept secret for those who want to enjoy life as it once was. Here you can experience the proud fishermen who still pull their boats onto the beach. Buy fresh fish directly from the boats or from the sustainable restaurant on the beach just 400 meters from the house. There is also a popular forest playground nearby, mountain bike trails and hiking at Bulbjerg. Svinkløv Badehotel and the beautiful surrounding dunes are also worth exploring.
