We offer a charming wooden home in the quiet residential area of Rågeleje, a short walk from the ocean. A peaceful home secluded at the bottom of a dead end road with no by-passing traffic with a beautiful large garden, wood burner, outdoor fireplace & sauna. A mini-supermarket is walking distance. The location, spaciousness & organic design of the home is ideal for holidays with loved ones or a quiet space for creative work or wellness retreat where silence, nature & the nearby ocean inspires. THE HOME: The communal living room offers a powerful wood burner that heats the entire place in the winter. Amongst the houses amenities include Wi-Fi, OLED TV 55 inch, fully-equipped kitchen, including dishwasher, as well as a washing machine. Extraordinarily we have special harp chair designed for relaxation that anyone can play. The bathroom has beautiful boheme décor with a walk-in shower & a free standing clawfoot bathtub for indulgent, relaxing soaks. Traditionally known as a summer house in DK, this home features two bedrooms in annexes that provide quiet & extra privacy, while one snug smaller bedroom is situated in the main house, along with a extra large futon in the main space. * RESIDENT CAT: We have a charming and friendly white cat named Baba who lives here. He’s always happy to greet guests, enjoys napping (mostly outside in the summer), and never sleeps in the bedrooms. Baba is well cared for: his food is managed by an automatic feeder, and a friend comes every other day to give him wet food and check on him. Therefore, he won’t be your responsibility. However, if you’d like to feed him wet food and keep an eye on him, feel free to do so. Just let us know in your inquiry. IMPORTANT NOTES: No Dogs or Other Pets: Due to Baba Cat, we must be clear, its a strictly no-pets situation. Garden Maintenance: During the summer, our trusted friends will water the garden. We fully respect your privacy and will coordinate a suitable time with you.

I grew up in Dorset, UK, but for the last 20 years, Mediterranean countries have been my home. For the past 7 years, I’ve shared a home in DK with a wonderful Viking & your other host, Arnt. Together we’ve put down roots creating a nurturing lodge for guests to stay, cultivating a large garden & caring for our lovely big cat, Baba. Arnt is passionate about DJing, travelling & the didgeridoo, while my passions lie in nature, herbalism, somatic healing, dance & all the arts. We unite in our love & ability to bring our community together, creating both fun & intimate spaces where connections are made & life is celebrated. Down to earth, open-minded & friendly by nature, Arnt and I look forward to welcome you. GARDEN: In the summer, the large enclosed garden teems with herbs, edible flowers & the gentle hum of busy bees. It offers a generous terrace with an elegant round stone table & big oak table perfect for delightful summer meals. As the night falls, the garden can be transformed into a magical haven with a rustic & snug outdoor fireplace, along with a wood-burning sauna that resembles a cozy hobbit house, nestled at the garden's far end. Small & big kids can enjoy both the table tennis and rustic trampoline. LOCATION: People love the coastal & natural location of this home, offering proximity to Rågeleje beach & a quick car ride or bus trip to the charming fishing town of Gilleleje or vibrant village of Tisvildeleje, the backdrop for the renowned Musik og Leje festival. Additionally nature walks can be taken out the back garden gate & a short car ride for walks at historical sites (see pictures).
