The lovely little cottage has room for shared experiences and cooking. The nature on the East Coast is amazing and the area offers many activities for the whole family - crabbing, flea markets and trips to the ice cream shop. The natural grounds and excellent fire pit make it possible to enjoy the fresh air all year round Meet Gitte Our names are Gitte and Steen, and we bought the cottage in August 2020. We simply fell in love with the small authentic cottage with its charm, atmosphere and size. We were allotment owners, but the idea of a cottage near the water was very attractive to us. The cottage and its surroundings give us peace and the opportunity for presence and immersion in our busy everyday lives. The ceilings are high and we enjoy the birds chirping, the small forest in our backyard and the wildlife. We have tried to create a functional house while preserving the soul of the house. We have only used recycled materials to build the cottage, although we have added new beds and a new kitchen. We still have many plans for the grounds and the annex, which we are continuously working on and developing. The cottage is home to our five children, five grandchildren, family and friends who often drop by. We enjoy putting on our hiking boots and challenging the area, which offers forest, beach and many marked trails.
