Lild Strand is located next to Jammerbugten between Hanstholm and Fjerritslev and only a few kilometers from the bird cliff Bulbjerg. Lild Strand is one of the few places on the coast where fishing with fishing boats and small boats directly from the beach is still possible. Occasionally it is possible to buy freshly caught fish on the beach when the boats are pulled ashore. The old warehouses on the waterfront are now used for living and as a church.
