When you enter the property, you are amazed by the peace and quiet and the staggering views and the gorgeous stone plantation style house. You can watch the boats sail past and see Guadeloupe and the Isles des Saintes in the distance.

We opened for business in April 2023 and I, Maurice, the owner, live on the property and am on hand to help guests at all times. I have lived here on and off since 2008 and recently more on than off. I divide my time with the UK which is where I am from. I also sometimes leave to work as a bakery consultant and will be setting up an artisan bakery anywhere between San Diego and Bangkok.

The property is situated on a hill with panoramic sea views over to the Islands of Guadeloupe and the Isles des Saintes. The location is blessed with almost constant sea breezes. Almost total peace with normally just the sound of nature and the distant sound of the surf on Toucari beach. I would recommend a car rental for seeing Dominica. I have almost always used Silver Lining car rentals who I have found very reliable. This can be arranged to be available at the airport. The house is 5 minutes drive from Toucari, which has a lovely beach and a good restaurant called "Keepin it Real". 5 minutes in the other direction is Tanetane, which has my favourite beach and also has 2 restaurants. Portsmouth is about a 10 minute drive from the house and is where you will find shops and eating establishments.
