Hi, I'm Mark. I hail from a charming fishing village in England called Beer. Growing up on the beach, I developed a passion for windsurfing. Cabarete first caught my attention through windsurfing magazines in the 1980s. In 1995, I moved to California with my American wife, and we raised our three children there. In 2021, we bought in Cabarete, and we've been enjoying our summers kiting and winging here ever since. Come visit—Todo Bien!

Known for its friendly and relaxing atmosphere, it is the ideal destination for kitesurfing, boasting consistent winds year-round. Most days, you can enjoy the choice between flat water and waves, thanks to the offshore reef. The beach is extremely safe, with no hazardous currents or dangerous sea life. The community here has a great vibe, with many long-term residents at Kite Beach Hotel, the complex where this condo is situated. You'll quickly discover that Kite Beach is a welcoming, social, and friendly place. The beach offers excellent dining and drinking options right on the shore. Cabarete town is just a 5-minute drive away, or about a 25-minute walk along the beach. This makes Kite Beach the perfect place to stay in Cabarete—close enough for easy access to town, but far enough to escape the nightlife noise. Local activities include canyoning, riverboat tours, kayaking, exploring the 27 Waterfalls, visiting Monkey Jungle, and discovering Cabarete Caves.
