We love welcoming guests to our little corner of the Andes. Hosting gives us the chance to share the fresh mountain air, the peaceful gardens, and the magic of San Isidro with travelers from all over. We enjoy helping guests discover hidden trails, taste fresh fruit from our trees, and relax by the fire after a day of exploring. Our greatest joy is seeing visitors leave with warm memories and a smile.
San Isidro, in the province of Carchi, is a peaceful and picturesque destination surrounded by mountains, green fields, and fresh air. Guests often enjoy the calm atmosphere, far from the noise of the city, and the warmth of the local people. Nearby is the El Ángel Ecological Reserve, famous for its frailejones and polylepis forests—perfect for hiking and photography. Just a short drive away, you can relax at the La Calera hot springs or enjoy sport fishing in nearby lakes. Visitors can also explore Tulcán with its famous cemetery-garden and cross into Ipiales, Colombia, to visit the Sanctuary of Las Lajas. Local cuisine includes delights like fresh trout, guinea pig, and traditional Andean dishes that captivate every visitor.
