You find us a km away from historic Piibe road (road 39). There are daily buses from Rakvere and Tartu (get off at "Kärde" stop and walk 2 km). Nearest grocery store and clinic are 4 km away, a lake suitable for swimming and Endla Nature Reserve's visitors' center is 3 km away. Nearest town Jõgeva is 15 km away. Great central location for exploring Estonia. A day trip to Endla Nature Reserve (only a few km away) is a must! Experience its unique wellspring area, eight bog massifs, divided by rivers with narrow flooded meadows or swamped forests, marked hiking trail, boardwalks, various forest communities, wooded meadow and bogs, protected bird and plant species. Partly overlapping hiking trails allow everyone to choose a nature trip within one’s powers. The towers give a beautiful view of swamped lakes. Since 2004, it is one of the Natura 2000 bird and nature areas. Various campgrounds and picnic places in the area. Open 24 hours. Free of charge. Rent bicycles to explore the surroundings; kayaks for a trip to Lake Endla waterways (available from July 1st); fishing equipment; rental car; or our fab sauna!
